Overview
To better serve the global auto industry electric vehicle trend in the United States, we are seeking multiple dedicated and full-time Equipment Maintenance Engineers to join our local team and to develop and oversee the preventive maintenance of our process equipment. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems, diagnose and resolve technical issues, and enhance the skills of our maintenance team. Candidates with relevant work experience will be given priority.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
● Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance plan for electrical components of process equipment.
● Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities to ensure timely and efficient completion.
● Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PLCs, motors, sensors, wiring, robotics, frequency converters, and servo systems.
● Continuously improve electrical systems to enhance reliability and performance.
● Address and rectify problems related to system software, application software, and hardware in process equipment.
● Diagnose and correct issues in visual systems, including circuits, CCD cameras, and related software.
● Optimize visual inspection systems for better accuracy and reliability.
● Select and procure necessary spare parts for electrical, computer, and visual systems to maintain an inventory of critical components to ensure minimal downtime.
● Develop and implement training programs to enhance the electrical skills of maintenance
● Perform safety inspections on process equipment to identify and mitigate risks.
● Conduct electrical debugging and verification for equipment when necessary.
Propose and implement improvements to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Information Technology, or a related field.
● Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment.
● Preferable experience in equipment and electrical development and debugging within the chemical, semiconductor, automotive, or related industries.
● Familiar with the working principles of electrical (PLC, servo, robot) systems, computer systems, or vision systems.
● Experience with visual inspection systems and related technologies.
● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
● Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross- functional teams.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work on schedule.
● Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance is required for this position.
● Ability to interact professionally with individuals of varied backgrounds and skill levels.
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to move around work sites, which may include walking, standing, and climbing ladders or stairs.
● Flexibility to bend, kneel, or crouch, particularly when inspecting installations or troubleshooting.
● Capability to lift and carry moderate weights, typically up to 25-50 pounds.
● Occasional lifting of heavier items may be required.
● Ability to work in various environments, including offices, construction sites, and manufacturing facilities.
● Willingness and ability to travel to various job sites, which may require driving or other forms of transportation.
